Some clients come to us and aren’t looking for anything drastic, just having their ends dusted or their roots retouched. Others, like this young lady, want a completely different look. Emma came to us with nearly a foot of hair that she wanted cut off. Her dad was a bit nervous about the big change, but Miss Emma had a smile a mile wide on her face from start to finish! We think she looks great!
As creative beings, your favorite hairstylists in Hillsboro love it when you walk in our door and give us carte blanche to do whatever strikes our fancy. We get clients in our chair every day with very specific pictures of very specific hair colors and hair styles and we are happy to provide them if it is in the range of possibilities, but our little hairstylists’ hearts leap for joy when a client comes in, sits in our chair and says, “Do whatever you want!”
The client pictured was just such a person. She came in with hair that was a bit on the brassy side and her roots were a bit out of control. Her hair color was neutralized by adding some pale, wheat colored strands and accenting it with some darker golden brown and just a touch of copper. We then cleaned her length up so she had no more split ends and gave her some seamless layers so that the darker copper would peek through. We finished her off with some Thickening Creme Gel by Catwalk and a touch of KPak Protect and Shine Serum, leaving her with an absolutely gorgeous head of hair.

We love the laughter, stories, camaraderie and friendships that are formed between all of us. We see many of you out in the community and we even see some of you socially. We are so very fortunate to come to ‘work’ each day, do what we love, and go home feeling that in some small way, we’ve made your day brighter.
When you send us your family members, your co-workers and your friends, it is truly the highest compliment you could pay us. You like us and you trust that we will take care of the other people in your life. It is like getting a gold star on our star chart, each time we have a referral come through our doors.
When you send us thank you cards or bring in a gift of appreciation, we are flattered and touched that you would spend the time to think of us, outside of the time you spend within the salon.
All of those things are delicious icing on an already sweet cake, that is our salon life.
When we are recognized publicly, by an outside source, such as Best of City Search, who has given us an award each year we’ve been in business, it is an extra little boost to our day and energizes us to continue to provide you, our clients and friends, with outstanding service and a really good time when you are at Ritual.
This week, we were notified that we have received the 2015 Best Businesses of Hillsboro award, which is awarded to all different types of businesses, but only one business from each category. We are are thrilled and honored to accept this award that recogizes Ritual as THE best place to get your salon services done in Hillsboro. I’d also like to take a moment to say that it is only with the cooperation and team work of all of the staff at Ritual that an award like this is possible. We are lucky to have the team we have and will continue to work hard to earn your referrals, appreciation and friendships!
